King of Shaves – Zing

Overview

Brief: Design a new product range for King of Shaves which is to be called ‘Zing of Shaves’ and will be sold in Tesco. The competitors are Lynx Rise, Original Source and other products utilising the awakening and refreshing area of the market. The packaging should shout off the shelf, ‘Zinging’ with freshness, energy and brightness. The ingredients will be products that energise such as citrus. This brief was commissioned by Creative Orchestra.

Solution: The name ‘Zing’ is reminiscent of traditional comic book language. For this reason a pop art style was used to depict the citrus ingredients being freshly squeezed to produce the bathing products.
